At its best, therapy termination is a beautiful practice in grief work, the end of something important and meaningful for both client and therapist.  At its worst, therapy termination is awkward, unsatisfying, and even confusing.

How do we set the tone for a positive ending from the very beginning?

I returned to Clearly Clinical Podcast a few months ago to talk about dealing with planned and unplanned endings in therapy.
