Möbius Strip...and Its Implications for Us.
When I first heard about a "möbius strip" from writer Parker Palmer, I thought it was a name for a German freeway or something.
A therapist needs to travel on the möbius strip, weaving between "performing" and "learning". If we start on performing, we end up in learning on the möbius strip. And if we move learning, it must end up in performing.
And over-emphasis on performing can impede learning. On the other hand, and focusing solely on learning without translate into the performance side of therapy, is of little clinical value.

I'm so grateful (and relieved) that this book is now out there. Thank you to everyone who has been interested, especially the people that pre-ordered the book before it was even released (which seemed to help top the best seller list in psychology on Amazon, I was told). More, thank you for your will to raise the bar of our works so as to be of better help to people in need.
We dedicated this book to the late K. Anders Ericsson (1947 - June 17, 2020), who is often described as the "expert on expertise." He wrote the foreword too.
Listen to the Frontiers podcast episode #7 that pays tribute to him, and watch Scott Miller's last interview with him.

Side-note: Believe you me, Scott, Mark and I worked hard with our publisher APA to make the book as affordable as possible!
