ON THE FRONTIER: Frontiers of Psychotherapist Newsletter Christmas Edition Dec'19.
Hi Folks on the Frontier,
HAPPY CHRISTMAS CHEERS!!
I hope you are all have a good time with your friends and loved ones.
I don't mean to be a downer, but this month, I've been thinking a lot about alcohol. I wonder if 30 years from now, would we start to regulate alcoholic beverages the way we do with tobacco... It's such a festive norm to have drinks, especially in Australia where I live. Even though, for whatever reason I've never been a big drinker, I find myself saying no to drinks more often now.
This is my last newsletter for the year, so with or without the drinks, may your spirit lift you and your soul keep your feet on the ground as you cross into 2020!
THIS MONTH'S NEWSLETTER: 3 THINGS (and 1 Special Gift):
1. Send in Your Questions to the newly minted Frontiers Podcast!

In this post, I propose a more spacious view of how we can reimagine education in psychotherapy, which I call the Clock of Learning Across Disciplines (CLAD).
This is the fifth article on the Reimagining Education in Psychotherapy (REP) series.
Here are the previous 4 posts:
1. Kindling the Flame
2. Teach the 3 Types of Knowledge and Not Just 1

SEND IN YOUR QUESTIONS!
OK... Some of you know that I've been working on this for a long time. The Frontiers Radio Podcast is finally launched, and you can find it in the podcast apps that you use (Stitcher, Spotify, Apple, etc. I use Downcast. It's much more configurable, but a bit slower on my old iPhone).
It's not yet officially publicised , as I've only added 2 episodes (the first is just an intro).
The format is going to be varied from practical tips, the latest and most relevant research, interviews with experts. And most importantly, to make the podcast come to life, I need your questions!
Take your mobile device and record a short voice memo containing your questions you like to be answered. Questions can be related to challenges in your professional development or simply about you trying to figure stuff out. Also, tell us your name and where you are from.
Once you are done, email me your voice memo.
It would mean a lot to hear from you. Thanks in advance.

NEW CUTTING EDGE ONLINE TRAINING
For the past year, I've been working on building a unique and in-depth workshop called DEEP LEARNER. It's what the name describes. I wanna help professionals like you extend your mind and develop a way to become a deep learner. I'd provide you all the tools, skills and design principles to make this happen.
Big thanks to the first 20 people who dropped me an email to be on the waitlist and get a special discount when it releases in a few month's time.
If you are interested like the others to sign up, drop me an email to be on the waitlist.
Thanks!
SPECIAL CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR YOU
In the spirit of Christmas, if you have bought the paperback or ebook of The First Kiss book before, I want to give you a GIFT.
For the first 20 people, send me a copy of your receipt via email and I'd send you the audiobook. It's available on all sorts of platforms (Apple, Amazon, Google, Kobo, etc),
Just my way of saying thanks for being interested in not only the work, but also challenging our field's status quo, and trying to do better.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ON THE FRONTIER!
See you in the new year.
Blessings,
Daryl
