ON THE FRONTIER: Frontiers of Psychotherapist Newsletter Apr'19.
Hi Folks on the Frontier,
I want to thank folks who have emailed me their thoughts and gratitude for Frontiers of Psychotherapist Development site. It means alot to me. Why? Because it allows us to have a more personal connection (and not write in a vacuum). I rarely check the analytics, largely because the point of Frontiers isn't to create more readers, but rather to focus on adding true value to the existing members like you. Thanks a bunch.
Another thing I've noticed so far—and I might be making a leap of assumption due to self-selection bias here—I'm coming across highly dedicated practitioners who are overwhelmed and burned out. I've got a few articles coming out on this topic in the coming weeks.
So for this month's newsletter:
1. Recent articles (Plus stuff from the archives & the future);
2. Chicago Workshops (w/ exclusive promo codes), &
3. Reigniting Clinical Supervision Batch #6 Launch is coming! (w/ first ever early bird promo code)
Read on.

“Our intention is to affirm this life, not to bring order out of chaos, nor to suggest improvements in creation... But simply to wake up to the very life we're living.” ~ John Cage.
August is pilgrimage time. I get to be part of an important period of meeting like-minded and spirited practitioners around the world, gathered around in Chicago—thanks to Scott Miller—helping them raise the bar of their work.
Three different workshops are available:
1. The FIT Implementation Intensive:
The only workshop in the US to provide an in-depth training in the evidence-based steps for successful integration of IT into clinical practice.
2. The Training of Trainers:
A 3-day workshop aimed at enhancing your presentation and training skills.
3. The Deliberate Practice Intensive:
A 2-day training on using deliberate practice to improve your clinical effectiveness. (Hot on the heels of on our forthcoming book, together with Mark Hubble, Better Results)
OH—and this is crucial—we’re offering an extra discount off the already reduced, early bird rate. Use the code FITPROMOAPRIL when checking out. Ends on May 1st!
Still sitting on the fence?
You can drop us an email (heck, we are biased), or go to https://www.centerforclinicalexcellence.com , ask in the forum about people's past experiences.

EARLY BIRD:
We haven't offered this before, so if you register before GOOD FRIDAY, 19th of Apr, 2019, you get a 29% discount off the full registration. Key in WISEBIRD at the checkout.
Limited Seats:
It sounds like BS when someone says that an online course has "limited space". I'm capping this to max 40 participants because I'm want to provide as much individual attention as I can to each learner. We already have registrants before this announcement is made.
Plus, I'm providing a follow-up consult with each person, AT NO COST. I'd give you a full refund if this course doesn't help you raise the game.
Will you join us? Door is open, and early bird closes on GOOD FRIDAY.
Have you read the book, The First Kiss: Undoing the Intake Model and Igniting First Sessions in Psychotherapy (available now in Amazon and other stores).
I've got the most recent edition at hand (more edits!), and if you would like to purchase the paperback version, drop me an email!
If you want to purchase the audiobook version before it comes out on Amazon, same thing.
Intake Second (Not First)
The following chapters are NOT available in the Kindle preview:
The Perils of an Intake Model
The 4P’s versus The 1P
Avoid TBU (“True But Useless”) Information
Follow The Pain
Follow the Spark
By the way, what do you think of the title? I really struggled with this initially.
