October: A Month with Many Faces
October has many identities. It is world mental health month (celebrated on the 10th, which coincidentally is my birthday!), Oktoberfest, Sober-October... You name it!
Many things are happening. Trying to balance all of that and being present as a father and husband is a constant challenge. I'm reminding myself to travel at the speed of life, and not get caught up trying to move at the speed of light.
I'm working hard to bring to you more valuable content and resources. Next year, I'm hoping to run a day-long retreat to kick off the year (both for the public and mental health professionals), alongside new audio materials, courses, etc. I would love to hear from you if you have any topics that is of interest to you.
On a different note, the sponsors have made my keynote address at the Achieving Clinical Excellence (ACE) Conference, Sweden 2018 freely available (click on the video below). It's related to the topic of deliberate practice, which I've been helping clinicians with improving their outcomes with their clients.
